The President of the College
The President of the College is responsible for managing the overall functions of the College according to the legal authority given to him/her by the General Manager of the College.
Powers and Duties
The College President shall:
- Lead, organize, coordinate, and control the functions of the College;
- Represent the College at all levels and in its relations with third parties;
- Approve the overall budget of the College in consultation with all bodies of the College
and the Senate;
- Ensure the preparation of the short and long-term plans of the College;
- Approve payments prepared in accordance with the budget and work plan of the College;
- Ensure the proper allocation of human, material, and financial resources at all levels of the College;
- Endorse or conclude agreements with domestic and foreign institutions made by the College;
- Approve the employment, assignment, promotion, and termination of the College staff;
- Observe and ensure the implementation of decisions and resolutions reached by the Senate and Top Management;
- Prepare, present, and defend annual and other reports to the College Senate and the Top Management;
- Chair the meetings of the Senate and the Top Management;
- Ensure that the activities and practices of the College are in line with the government regulations and the education policy of the country in general;
- Carry out other necessary duties to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the College.
