CPU College has proudly signed an MoU with FTVTI, establishing a collaborative framework for training, capacity building, academic and joint academic and research conferences. The partnership particularly focuses on promoting safer internet practices and responsible use of AI and emerging technologies.
The agreement opens doors for extensive partnership, including staff development programs, ‘Training of Trainers’ initiatives, and strengthened research industry linkages. Both institutions will also engage in joint research projects in key initiatives such as “Safer Internet: Smart Tech, Safe Choices – Exploring the Safe and Responsible Use of AI.”
During the signing, Dr. Biruk Kedir, General Director of FTVTI, emphasized that the partnership’s role will begin with organizing a campaign for Safer Internet Day 2026, which will be celebrated globally on 10th

February 2026, under the global slogan of “Together for a Better Internet.”
It was a fruitful discussion, and both parties agreed to establish an action plan implementation committee within the coming few days, comprising members from each institution to oversee the execution of the partnership’s objectives.
